Activation covers the membership fee and your first month; the security deposit is held separately and returned at the end, less any charges. After that, your monthly rate is billed on the 1st, with a six-month minimum.
Membership rules
Fair to every member.
Written plainly.
Term and billing
- Six-month minimum. Leaving early means the rest of the six months is still due.
- After six months, membership continues month to month. Cancel with 30 days' written notice.
- Billed on the 1st by card or ACH on file. At 5 days late, access pauses and the car comes back. At 15 days late, the membership ends.
- Upgrade any time by paying the difference in membership fee; your term stays the same. Downgrades are available after the six-month minimum.
Fees and deposit
- The membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- A security deposit is held for the length of the membership: $2,500 Bronze, $5,000 Silver, $10,000 Gold. It is returned at the end, less any damage, tickets, tolls, fuel or unpaid charges.
Insurance
- Full-coverage insurance in the member's name is mandatory on every tier. Leozen insurance is not available for memberships.
- Silver needs at least $100,000 in property damage coverage and Gold at least $250,000. Leozen is listed on the policy.
- If coverage lapses, access pauses immediately and the car comes back.
Days, swaps and miles
- One car at a time. A day is any calendar day, or part of one, that a car is with you.
- Top-car days are capped by tier as shown above. Extra top-car days are billed at the member rate, 30% off the daily rate.
- Swaps need 24 hours' notice and depend on what is free. Each car is kept at least 48 hours.
- Extra miles are 1% of the car's daily rate per mile, settled at each swap.
- Membership gives access to request cars and does not guarantee a specific car on a specific date.
No rollover
- Unused miles, days, swaps and details expire at the end of each month. They don't carry over, can't be cashed out and can't be transferred.
Using the car
- Only the member drives, plus one approved driver on Silver and Gold who carries their own insurance.
- No rideshare, paid shoots, subletting, track days or racing. No smoking. Pets with approval only.
- Anywhere in Texas. Out-of-state trips need approval first; transport is billed at our cost.
- Return the car at the same fuel level. Tickets and tolls are billed to you plus a $25 admin fee.
- Damage is claimed on your insurance first, and the deductible is yours.
- Leozen may end a membership for misuse, repeated violations or missed payments, with no refund of the membership fee.
